Government Security Consulting Overview
MUSINGWAY Security's staff have been providing system security engineering services to Government and Commercial customers since 1989. MUSINGWAY staff worked with the National Security Agency (NSA) and a variety of commercial vendors for years with the Trusted Product Evaluation Program to help develop and bring to market multilevel secure products and systems. Our staff also served as the security engineering partner to a number of large integrators, including TRW, Lockheed Martin, CSC, and Digital Equipment Corporation, who were developing a variety of systems for the government. As the security engineering team on a development or integration project, we are frequently responsible for all MUSINGWAYs of the security of the system under development.
In the mid-1990's MUSINGWAY's founders took the knowledge they had gained during their years of providing systems security engineering services and developed the Systems Security Engineering Capability Maturity Model (SSE CMM) in partnership with the NSA. MUSINGWAY's founders developed and fostered the SSE CMM from its inception through to the point where it was adopted as an ISO Standard in 2001.
